Anyone have plans for the weekend?
I'm feeling bored and unmotivated. Can I live vicariuosly through someone else? ANyone have any fun palns for the weekend? I am pretty sure mine will be paying bills, filing, cleaning up the house, alundry, grocery shopping and smushing squash bugs.....
Re: Anyone have plans for the weekend?
We are mostly doing stuff around the house and cleaning this weekend as well. I might hit Whole Foods for some groceries tonight, since they have wine and cheese tastings on Friday nights. I'll pretend it's happy hour!
I think we are going to go to the Salsa Fiesta at Old Town on Saturday, then a BBQ at my sisters house. Nothing too exciting...
No big plans here either, which I'm happy about. Dropped my car off for its 75k service this morning, so we will pick it up tomorrow, and maybe head down to Abq to do a little shopping (more baby stuff!).
I definately need to do some cleaning too. We are having our carpets cleaned on Monday, so need to have as much stuff moved out of those rooms as possible.
Sounds like a cleaning weekend for us all. I decided to reorganize the files and closet in the guest bedroom. my paper runneth over and now I need to purge it.
The Salsa Fiesta sounds like fun. Maybe I can drag Nikhil out of the house!
Diamond - Have you found a full orange and blue wardrobe for the little guy yet?
Grrr...I completely forgot about the Salsa Fiesta! Mike and I were going to enter last year and by the time we found out about it, it was too late.
Maybe next year.
I have a very exciting weekend. 9 mile run tomorrow morning and then 11 hours of lecture to finish my review course...exam is 2 weeks from today. I know, I know...you're all so jealous!

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. A mother is something absolutely new.
Not a full one, but we are working on it....
I bought some fabric today to attempt to make some of my own diapers, we will see how this goes!
hmmm. 9 hour run and then 11 hours of studying. Man Duff, you are a stud!
Ha! I agree with Flame! Duff you are superwoman! The 9 miles alone made my head spin! I know who to go to now when I move out and want to get active and into shape! I'm fat.. so there is a long way to go! hahaha.
Seriously though, that is amazing!
Ha! I'm so flarking slow...it's embarrassing. I averaged somewhere around 14:20 minute/miles yesterday. Seriously though, if you ever want to do something (slowly) let me know! After Baby Diamond gets here we'll have to try our bike ride again...hopefully by that time my exam will be over with!
Ugh, and speaking of...I sat in front of the computer for 14 hours this weekend.

You're faster than me!
I can't imagine that much 'puter time on the weekend. Is the next test your retake of part one? I can't remmebr if your CPA exams are 4 parts or 3 parts!
I haven't ridden a bike in I don't know how long. Also something I wouldn't mind picking up. It seems like cycling is more popular there than it is here.
So.. I guess things I plan on workign on when I move.....gardening and cycling (getting into shape)
I'm really looking forward to meeting you girls!
Ugh, 4 parts and this is the retake of the 2nd part. I'm expecting the 3rd part's score this week...prob Thurs. I felt good about that one, but who knows. If it's good news this week, I'll register for the last part for an Oct test date.

Sounds great to me! I need to start looking for a bike trailer I think. I'm planning on getting a jogging stroller too, so we can do all with baby in tow
I'm totally slowing down now. Last Monday I was still able to run 2 miles (on trails) without a breather. Today I mostly hiked, granted our "run" was up Mitchell = evil part of the Jemez half.
I can't imagine running Mitchell with a baby taking up valuable diaphragm and lung space!
All you need is baby snow shoes or make a frisbee sled you can drag behind you and you'll have a Quad ready baby diamond.
They actually make stroller that convert to skis....humm
I can just see Baby Diamond storming down Parajito on something like that!
