H has been working crazy long hours and I have been kind of tinkering around. Getting some things done (cleaned out closet, organized clothes in dresser, etc.) but overall I have been terribly bored and just generally blah.
I am thinking of going out to the North Fork tonight, visit my grandmother. My mom and my aunt are visiting also so that's an added bonus. And, this is the best part, my grandmother's H will be away until tomorrow night. Maybe see my uncle and cousin while I'm out there. Staying until tomorrow or Sunday, depending on how I feel.
Enjoy the warm weekend ladies.
Tonight: home sweet home, I need a little rest but might take on a mini project at home to make myself feel better (buying black spray paint to spray paint a lamp I found at HD cheap) or I might just rest.
DH is going to begin painting our upstairs hallway.
Saturday: serious work begins on the kitchen - the project I have been most been looking forward to. In the evening I have a baby shower then an after party to attend in Brooklyn. DH will likely not attend as he has work the next morning so I might not stay too long.
Sunday: DH works, I might head to church if I don't stay at the party...otherwise, snoozing and then tackling one of my projects which I didn't complete last weekend (removing sticky tile in 2 bedrooms or repainting dresser - we shall see!)

After the last few days of family hell, my mom, dad and I are going to Lancaster PA for the day tomorrow to relax and shop. DH is working late tonight, so he doesn't want to go out there with us...I don't blame him. Sunday I will spend the day cleaning and trying to relax.

Finally! A Married Bio!!
Tonight: DH & I are going with another couple to see District 9. Looking forward to the movie, but not having to trek to 42nd street & crowds to see it. BUT, before that I have to somehow leave work, go to bay ridge and pick up a rental car, drop it off at the apartment, walk & feed the dog and get back to 42nd street by 7pm. phew!!
Saturday: We're waking up very very early to drive down to PA (very close to lancaster, but we're going to harrisburg!) My friend is having her bridal shower, then we're hanging out with my family the rest of the weekend. We're going to tell my parents & immediate family (sister, etc) that we're having a baby! woo hoo!! I'm really excited to see their reaction - they have no clue!
Sunday: relaxing with my family, hanging out with my brother & his family and not sure what else. At some point driving back to the city in the evening.

Tomorrow we have the house inspection!! I can't wait, I'll let you all know how it goes.
After the inspection we're going to my SIL's bbq/fiesta

Tomorrow, we're going over to DH's grandpa's 85th birthday.
Sunday, no idea yet, hopefully, some cleaning, food shopping, errands.
