Regardless of your age, there are things in life that you encounter and go "God, when did I get so old?!"

Playing the game of Life with my 17-year old nephew, and even though he's fully single and in no hurry, seeing him put a little pink "wife" in his car with him. And then have little plastic babies in the car...
And worse: realizing that could happen.
Only they wouldn't be plastic.
When I turn down invitiations to go out or do things during the week b/c I don't want to be out too late on a work night.
Or turning things down b/c I have to study - in college I was still fun and would go out all the time regardless of study requirements.

Not going out anymore and then our friends being utterly surprised when we do. (It's not that we don't want to go out, we feel bad dropping David off especially since our moms watch him enough during the week).
Going to sleep at 10 pm. I can't stay up as late as I used to.
When people made fun of DH and I for having life insurance. I'm sorry, that's not being old, it's being responsible. We have a hour and a kid that we need to provide for.
Giggling girls annoy the crab out of me now, I used to be one of them as a teenager.
being the mother of a 5 and 6 year old, my "baby" can't be 5, it seems like I just had him
my 10 year high school reunion having come and gone, I didn't go but man, I've been out of high school for 11 years now
