We put an offer on a house last night
so this weekend could possibly be some negotiating.
Depending on the weather, we'd like to go to some local gardens.
We don't really have too much planned which is nice.
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
Tonight we are going to dinner and the movies and tomorrow is yard work and we are hitting the Corning Museum of Glass which is about 2 hours from our house. Sunday is taking it easy and heading to my in-laws for dinner.

My little brother is coming this afternoon to pick up some of our old furniture and kitchen stuff so that he can move into his new house this weekend before school starts back.
Tomorrow we're supposed to be going to a huge slip-n-slide party at a friend's house for his birthday but it will probably get postponed. Another friend of ours (who is the host's SIL) has a sister who was only given a couple more days to live (brain cancer) by the doctors last night
I talked to my friend last night and she wants the party to go on, but I personally wouldn't feel right celebrating and slip-n-sliding while she and her family are going through so much. Prayers and knottie vibes for that whole family, please!
We actually have a really full weekend planned for a change!
Tonight we are going to LeClaire to watch the TugFest parade and the awesome fireworks over the Mississippi. (TugFest is a contest between Port Byron,IL and LeClaire,IA and is actually a tug-of-war across the Miss. river with a barge rope.)
Then tomorrow we might a) go boating b) have a fish fry or c) go to the drive in movies to see The Ugly Truth. I definitely want to go to the movies! Can't wait to see that one!
Sunday we are traveling about an hour and a half to go to my dad's mom's family's reunion. (She has since passed away, but we still go) And on the way we are going to visit DH's great aunt who is 93 and is pretty much a shut-in. It will be the first time we've ever visited her together.
So all in all, I expect it to be a pretty good weekend.

We have a pretty fun weekend ahead.
Tonight I'm just going to be doing a lot of cleaning. This week I have been re-organizing rooms and we got a few new pieces of furniture, so I want to finish straightening things and finding a spot for everything. I feel like when you start to re-organize you end up with a bigger mess than you started with because you keep finding things and pulling new things out.
Tomorrow is the inlaws big end of summer party at their house. They usually get a big turnout of about 250ish people, so that'll be a lot of fun just hanging out with people and eating yummy food. They also have a band come to play live music.
Then Sunday will probably be recovering from our late night Saturday and I have a tentative lunch date set with a friend.

Next weekend I'm going to see the Time Traveler's Wife, which I can't wait to see.

We are thinking of going shopping on Saturday since I need to pick up some clothes and such for school.

Tomorrow is giving the house a quick cleaning, and heading to Jeff's cousin's house in MA for a family barbeque. We'll be spending the night in VT with my parents, and heading back Sunday.
