Idea for what to do with $2 bills.

My husband wants a new car thing for his truck that he has to special order through a company. So for his birthday I'm giving him $100 towards it. I've gotten a hold of $100 dollars in two dollar bills. Does anyone have any good ideas of a creative way to present this? Or should I just stick all the two's in a card and call it done?

Re: Idea for what to do with $2 bills.

  • My kooky aunt is obsessed with $2 bills and always gave them to me growing up.  She has folded them origami-style into butterflies, but I'm guessing your DH isn't into butterflies :)  If you google 'dollar bill origami,' you'll get some other ideas, although that will be a lot of folding if you do all 50 bills.  Maybe you could just fold a few.
  • DH's mom always gave him and his bother cash for Christmas locked in a puzzle.  It was fun to watch them work for their money.

  • My aunt gave us $100 for Christmas, and had them made into a check book.  It was cool.  The dollars peeled off like checks. :)
