  • Al Biernat's, hands down.

  • I've heard III Forks is way overrated

  • Al Biernat's.

III Forks is alright... but between the two Al Biernat's beats it by a hundred miles.  And IMHO... I think Del Frisco's is the best in Dallas!  Smile

  • I've never eaten at III Forks, but my sister and her DH like it.  Our favorite steak is at Rick's Chophouse in McKinney, they are rated better than either of your two selections, but I know it's not close like Dallas.  We had a really bad experience at Al Biernat's. With the exception of the lobster bisque and creme brulee, everything was awful.  We went with friends that insisted it was fabulous.  The cut of meat was poor, the flavoring was bad, I could actually hear DH's steak being ripped when he cut/sawed into it which is not the sign of a good steak. We would have complained if we hadn't been guests of the people who raved about it.  We won't ever go again, but I know lots of people like it.
