Good Morning Monday!

Mornin all! Hope everyone had a great weekend.  My highlight of this past week was seeing all of you. I am sorry if I did not recognize all of you, and did not say more than hello.  I felt like such a snob afterwards.Embarrassed

Getting the exterior of the house painted today, as well as the comp room, so that means I will be banned from entering this room again.  So sad.  It is my only source of fun these days.

Aside from the GTG, I spent the whole weekend cleaning, washing, reading about pregnancy and babies... I am so anxious and restless that I am driving my own self nuts!!!

So how was your weekend? Ok, have a great week everyone!

Re: Good Morning Monday!

  • Morning. I am flat out exhausted this morning.

Friday we left the house at 5am for an up-back trip to Vegas. DH had a meeting and I joined him to keep him company. I did get a new coach purse though : )

Saturday I had an ordering session early with a client, then the gtg (fun!), then a bday party.

Sunday I had a 4.5 hour newborn session! (my longest to date). I came home and crashed HARD. I then stayed up until 11:30 editing.

    I need a nap.

  • The GTG was so much fun! I didn't do much other than that - just hanging out and packing.

We sign papers for the house today, wheee!!! I can't wait till the moving is over!

  • Good morning!

    Val-4.5 hours?! Holy cow!

Before the gtg on Saturday I took Mary to Vons where Olan Mills had a travel studio set up. I had been wanting a nice picture of Mary and my nephews but didn't want a ton or to spend a lot. So I got one pose and tons of sizes for $12. It worked for what I needed it to but certainly will not make a habit of going there. There were SO many pics that the lighting was horrible! (Mary had a shadow on her face from my nephews)

Sunday my ILs came over. They kinda made me mad too. I hate that I am just expected to sit around all day for them to show up. They never call and tell me what time. :( I was really frustrated with them yesterday.

    Nothing going on today.

Lori-Diapers.com rang my doorbell at 8:50 this morning with my order. WOW! (They said it wouldn't be here til tomorrow)

  • Good morning!

What a busy weekend!!  Friday night I had a Jr League meeting then went to a Tastefully Simple party which was a lot of fun.

Saturday, the GTG (had an AWESOME time!)...I'm so glad so many people could make it!  I can't wait for the next one!  After everyone left, I slept for about an hour then C and I went to California Adventure.  We stood in line for Soarin' for an hour...the sign said the wait was only 35 minutes.  C hadn't ever been on it before and he LOVED it!  By the time we finished the ride, the electrical parade was starting so we watched that.  After it was done, we went to Napoli's (I think that's what it's called) in Downtown Disney for a late dinner. We sat outside so we were able to watch the fireworks!  We left right after but got caught in the Angel's game traffic so it took us FOREVER to get home!

Yesterday I put in about 4 hours of OT then sort of veg'd the rest of the day.  C BBQ dinner last night which was delish!

Just work today...blah...hopefully my OT is done but we'll see.

Mom leaves tomorrow...  :-(  I'm really going to miss her...and so is Sarah!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Becki - congrats on signing the papers!  Yay!

Kristy - that's awesome that they showed up so early!

  • Morning everyone!

Friday night H went out for a friends bday and I started a bit of the cooking for the weekend, folded some laundry, and caught up on some DVR

Sat - had the GTG and made it back in 45 min thanks to Lori's directions to avoid the 15/91 intersection and the fastrak! Got home, then went to target and Costco to pick up some stuff for the party on Sunday. Decided to go to Wahoos for dinner and saw the Hangover which was funnier than I thought it would be. Then my knee started hurting from sitting for 2 hrs so I went home and iced. Once I felt better I put the meat in the slow cooker and made the bday cake...finally went to bed at 2 am.

Sun- got up cleaned and did some final cooking. SIL came over early to take the girls to the pool then the rest of the ILs came over. Dinner went really well I think, everyone seemed to enjoy the food (or so they said).  Pretty beat afterwards, fortunately my SILs helped me clean up and I was able to go to bed at 930.

Today have a short work day since I am off to see my SIL at her new dental office for a cleaning!

  • My weekend was pretty uneventful.

I didn't make it to the GTG, I spent 3 hours at urgent care on Saturday getting antibiotics for a UTI...not fun!

Sunday DH had hockey playoffs so I went to his two games, one at 8:30 am and one at 6:00 pm, then we went out for pizza after.

This morning I woke up with a terrible pain in my upper back and neck, I can hardly move my head.  I am hoping I just slept wrong and it will go away before I go back to work on Wednesday.

    Have a great week!

  • Morning! Friday was pretty normal. Sat-GTG of course. I really enjoyed myself and I love seeing all the babies together.  Right after we got into the car Isabel said-"Mama I'm tired, can I sleep?" I said sure and 2 secs later she was out, Joaquin followed about 15min later. So we drove around for a bit to let them nap than decided to hit Tai Pan Trading Co by the Mills. Pretty cool store by the way. Loved all their Halloween stuff. Than we took the kids to the rainforest cafe, service and food were just ehhh but Isabel loved the animals and fish and all the noise so it was worth it.

Sun-we went to my parents house to visit and have lunch. A busy weekend but pretty fun

  • I am off from the office on Friday now and only do showings or stay home, which is nice. I took the girls to the car wash and they were perfect! I like to be brave and venture out on our way and see how it goes, so far, so good!

Sat I had a blast with some of my favorite ladies! And already have 2 GTG ideas, I will post those right after this!

Yesterday we went to Ikea, my favorite place! We made out like bandits and I love all our new finds. Mostly stuff for the "daycare" I have set up for the girls in the office next door.

And yesterday afternoon my friend had her baby! A beautiful teeny little girl! I'm in love already! I do have to say though that anyone who says that Redlands has nicer maternity rooms than Loma Linda is VERY mistaken! They are ok, but not even 1/2 the size or 1/2 as nice as LL rooms!  I was glad I delived at LL.

Miss you girls already! Can't wait to see you all again soon!

  • Friday I got to go home from work early because they were updating our computers so we were down all day.  I went home and then had a dentist appt.

Saturday I had my final cake class and then went to the GTG.  I had a great time and it was nice to meet you all.  DH and I went out for sushi with a coworker of mine then came home and went to bed.

Yesterday we slept in, then I helped DH mow the front and back yards, then we went grocery shopping and DH BBQ steak for dinner and we went to bed.

So, I thought I had already replied to this post using my cellphone.

Kristy, I had the same experience yesterday with family. My aunt was supposed to drop off my niece at my house around 6pm so my brother wouldn't have to drive to LA to pick her up after work. By the time 8 rolls around I have lost my patience and called her. She showed up about 15 minutes after that. I felt like my evening was wasted sitting around waiting for her.

Anyway, Friday evening we babysat my niece who at age 5 is already a little Storm (always wanted to use that storm cloud) and a PITA. I love her to death but watching her is dreadful because her attention span is non-existent. She needs to be constantly entertained. Dh  has to do it all because she doesn't like me for whatever reason (I think it's her mommy issues).

Saturday I had a great time at the gtg.  I stopped at Target on my way home and bought R a Bumbo after I saw that she liked Sarah's.

Sunday my friend from AZ came over in the afternoon to meet R for the first time and then I waited for my aunt to show up.

Nothing planned for this evening except rest and enjoy my time with my baby.
