The diagnosis is in...

So, apparently I have the flu and boy did the Dr's office make a federal case out of it. lol I can understand my Dr. being protective of herself (she's preggers), but they made me wear a surgical mask to leave the office. I asked the Dr. when I can take it off and she said when you're in your car. I was laughing. There was no way in hell I was walking through an entire building and out into the parking lot with that thing on. Plus, I was already in the office without one on, so people are already susceptible to my germs. I threw it out as soon as I stepped foot out of her office. The Dr. said the staff should have brought me right into an office away from everyone immediately, but the retarted receptionist blamed me for not telling her all my vital stats before I walked into the office. She's lucky I didn't reach over the counter her and knock her out. Anyway, I guess everyone is up in arms 'cause of the whole swine flu scare that's been happening, but come on, I had a fever yesterday and a cough! I guess they should have just brought me out back and shot me! lol Anyway, being I work in a hospital I am now on "vacation" for a week to recooperate. I'll be back at work next Monday...
