I woke up thinking it was Wed...I dont know why or how, but I was very upset about this.
School started again yesterday, this semester is going to be a good one....just always stressful.
I hope everyone else is having a good Tuesday!
Re: Its only Tuesday...ugh
Good morning! Ah, yes, it would be nice it if was Wednesday already. We are in for anpother scorcher of a day here and I'm just going to try my best to stay in my a/c office and not move around too much. I'm sending up lots of requests to Mother Nature for a break in this weather. Hurry up Fall!!!!
Brit - Good luck with this new semester!

I'm with Jen, summer is too hot for me. I loved summer as a kid, but now that I don't spend every waking moment in a pool, and all my weekends are planned out for the whole summer, I just find it kind of tiring. I'm looking forward to fall weather, cooling down and relaxing, jeans, sweaters and apple picking haha?
I have to agree, I'm over these 90+ days. At least you girls up north will get a break before I will. It won't even start to cool off until the end of October if we are lucky!
And yes, I do wish it was later in the week, or at least the end of the day already. I' m so tired, I slept like crap last night.
eehhh the weather guy this morning said it was 92% humidity ..gooood lawd!
Oh no! I bet it is scorching hot when you get home from work...not at midnight but if you get home in the afternoon. I know it is in our house. We only run our window unit during the day, which is also in our bedroom. We leave our bedroom doors open so the air will circulate in the living room but its still hot as h3ll when we get home. We have a central a/c unit but it doesnt work right and it will never shut off if we let it run all day...and then our power bill would be even more ridiculous then it already is =(
Now you're all going to hate me.. but I was thinking of commenting this morning on how beautiful the day is here. It's a cool for August, but I LOVE it. Outside it's roughly 65 degrees, breezy and sunny.
Hope the weather around the rest of the US gets cooler soon!
P.S. Last week it was probably 85 and 90% humid - which is NORMAL August weather here too.
I usually turn off the weather because it's depressing to me. Besides, when you live in FL you know what the weather is in the summer already: disgustingly hot, with disgustingly high humidity, and always a chance of rain.
Thats how it is here. I walk outside and its just gross! I hate humidty, it also makes my hair frizz!
I cant wait for the fall
. I just need to drop some weight quickly so I can fit into all my jeans.
Ugh...me too! My hair is in a ponytail today because the frizz would be unreal otherwise.

I also hate the heat, and am with you on the being tired thing!
Last night I had a CPR course until 10pm. then, when I was getting ready for bed around midnight, I took my shirt off over my head (with my arms up) and accidentally knocked a license plate off the wall it was hanging on. the license plate cut the top of my breast. its really just a small cut, and not deep at all, but gravity being what it is, made the cut pull apart. We headed to the hospital where, thankfully, I did not need stitches, and that dermabond (super glue) was applied to hold my skin together.
it didn't hurt at all last night, and is a little itchy today, but not painful at all
