Confessions of your childhood poll

For a slow day.

What was the worst thing you did as a child that you think about now and are embarassed by? No matter how old or whether you knew it was wrong at the time. What was it?

Re: Confessions of your childhood poll

  • To answer my own poll. I don't remember how old I was but my mom and my aunt took my cousin and I to KMart and while they were looking at something her and I went into the bathing suit section and we viciously bent the underwire in who knows how many bathing suits.

Looking back. Yikes, there's no way they could have sold those after the damage we did but at the time we just thought it was funny. I don't know if my mom knows that we did that come to think of it.

  • Well I?m not really embarrassed by it but?

When I was about 2 yrs old, my parents put me to bed and they too went to bed. I was always a night owl. I got up and started playing with things in my room?.I found a jar of baby powder! Ooooo fun ? Snow!

I decided on spraying baby powder all over the room, the floors, and the bed, the dresser (inside & out). Then I had fun jumping on the bed! To make the snow fall from the sky (duh)Well the bed collapsed on one end and I fell, I must have gotten hurt because there was a little bit of blood. Seeing my mom do this to my dry scabs I?ve had in the past I grabbed the Vaseline and applied some in the cut. Well then I discovered the paste that baby powder & Vaseline make! Oooo fun again!

Need-less to say my bedroom was a disaster. My parents found me the next morning sleeping under the bed. They took a picture of it to show others because no one would believe that I did that all on my own.

And no I didn?t get in trouble because they were so ashamed /embarrassed that they SLEPT through the whole thing!!!

  • ha ha ha... the list goes on... I hasnt the nicest or good kid..I played "doctor" in my basement...fully naked with the neighbour...,
Stole stickers from classmates;  write my name on a classmates work because I didnt do mine....

    I am horrible!
  • My dad got a fancy new sports car when I was 5 or 6. To impress the neighbour kids, I showed them how I could climb all over it, use the windshield as a slide, and jump up and down on the roof. I have no idea why I thought this would be so cool, but my dad certainly didn't think it was cool when he came outside and found me putting massive dents in his two day old car by using it as a trampoline.

  • In the 4th grade I pulled the fire alarm! I was a total suck up, teacher's pet in school and never, ever would have thought of doing it on my own. We were lined up at the door after gym class and this bad kid named Marcus told me that if you flicked the hadle really really fast, it wouldn't go off. Uh, yeh, we was wrong! I was so embarassed, and scared. I seriously wanted to just cry and cry about it. Thankfully, the teacher and principal were super understanding and I didn't get in trouble.
