While a student at UC, I marched with the UC Bearcat Bands.

For Homecoming this year, I can't decide if I want to perform with the Alumni Band or not. I used to do it every year, but haven't been back in 4 years.

Part of me says it will be lots of fun & a great way to hang out with some old friends.
Part of me says screw it and just hang with the fam (DH & DD are coming).

If I perform, I will still be able to sit with them thru the game, just not during the parade, pregame show, or halftime show.

What do you think? TIA!

I've got to be honest. I didn't join UC's band when I was there because I wanted to work instead. BIG mistake on my part. I would give anything (okay, almost anything) to be able to get back out there and perform again. You should totally do it! It would be a blast!

Go- last year I marched with UC's alumni band and I didn't even GO to UC! (PS- My husband did and marched with the band and marched years 93-98)

I'll probably be marching again- the not really UC Alum! (I went to Indiana Univ. and I also marched there)

You should march! I wish I had been more involved when I was at UC. Like pp said, it will be fun for your daughter to see you out there, too!
