Weird

Tell me if you know anything about this....

Today in my mail, I got a chain letter. Not in the email, but snail mail. It's not the bad luck one, it's the "send a dollar to these people and make a zillion". It came from some I don't know in Stockton and said you can buy a mailing list. I want to know how I got on that list.

Re: Weird

  • I haven't heard of that one, but it sounds super shady.
  • Maybe a magazine subscription or something you bought online. These people have a way of getting their hands on mailing lists of other companies. Glad you are smart enough to realize it's a hoax!Geeked
  • Oh sorry Jenn I ment to tell you.....

    j/k that stuff sucks.

  • Darn you Amy!!!

Seriously, I'm just concerned about people getting my address.

  • That is weird
hmmm I would send it back with "not at this address" written on it maybe that will help stop the letters?....
  • I get those randomly from time to time... no rhyme or reason where they came from- I would just disregard and toss it.
Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog

Honestly its so easy to get people's addresses these days which is scary even if you have information blocked or unlisted. I learned this the hard way a few years back...just take a minute to search yourself on zabbasearch.com and almost every address and phone number you've ever had will pop up under your name....
