What to wear?

I was wondering if you ladies can help figure out what to wear for my mat pics w/ Amy in a few weeks.  I originally wanted to wear a maxi dress like Val, but after trying on a few maxi dresses yesterday, I came to realize they are too long for me.  We are taking the pics at Prospect Park in Redlands.  I have no fashion sense, so I would appreciate the help.  TIA!

Re: What to wear?

  • I love those dresses. You could always buy one and hem it up. Or have you tried buying one in a petite size just larger?

No, I did not try the petite sizes.  I guess I am scared to even go near that section knowing how big I am right now.Smile Maybe I will try, though.  Thanks.

  • like stacy and clinton say-don't focus on the number focus on the fit Smile
  • i say if you really find one you love than get it altered to fit you :)
  • I am short, so I feel your pain. Try the petite section, the length will be better there.

I wore a maxi dress and then later changed into jeans and a dark pink fitted t-shirt. I actually prefered the pictures in jeans than the one in the maxi dress. I felt like I looked huge in the maxi dress, but that was me. I was already feeling big. I just didn't look that great in dresses while pregnant, but they were definitely most comfortable at the end.

  • I think something form-fitting would look best. That way you look obviosuly pregnant and thin everywhere else!  :)
  • Sher's right on. Bring both a dress ( I liked the pink one you had on at the party if you like it) and pants and a form fitting top. It's really nice to do both looks. There are quite a few bathrooms there where you can change.

    Looking forward to it.

  • I liked the dress you had on Saturday too. It was really flattering on ya.
  • Thanks, ladies.  I didn't think of changing to diff clothes, but that's a great idea.
