Landen/Mason Veterinarian
We just recently moved and are looking for a good vet near us. Has anyone heard of/used either of these vets:Larry Smith DVMBrian Gibson DVM?Any?recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
Re: Landen/Mason Veterinarian
I'm sorry I don't know anything about those vets. We currently go to Pfister Animal Hospital on Cincy-Dayton Road in West Chester. We LOVE them. DH's family has been going there since Dr. Pfister opened years ago. They are super personable and know all the animals by name when you walk in the door. We also like how everything is at one location, doctors office, xray, surgery, training, boarding and they also offer grooming services.
GL with your decision and welcome to the area!
Sorry. I also don't know about those vets but thought I'd post another recommendation.
I live in Maineville (near Landen) and our vet is in Loveland which is not a bad drive and well worth it. Takes me about 20 minutes. It would take you less from Landen.
Another Nestie (notapetrock) recommended this vet and we LOVE them. We've always had great service by the staff and the docs. There have been a few times where I needed to get Roxy in within a day and they have always accomodated us, often squeezing her in that day. Super people there.

Ditto this. We love them.
DH always took his cats to Dr. Gibson, and he liked him. I took two of my cats there once on his recommendation and wasn't at all happy with them (they didn't seem to have a clue how to handle my bad cat. I know she's aggressive, but hanging her from a dog leash and choking her till she passes out and pees on herself isn't the solution--yes, this actually happened right in front of me)
I still take mine to Pfister's in West Chester (where I used to work), even though it's a bit of a hike from Mason. CincyBride, I probably knew your DH's family's pets when I was there! I'd like to take them somplace closer, but I feel that I get the "inside scoop" from my former bosses.
