I just reported a telemarketer to the do not call people
It's easy, there's an online form for it.
No idea if it will do anything but they pissed me off so I made a little effort to figure out where to go. It's the one that always leaves the message saying it's urgent because it's our last chance to reduce our credit card rates. I happened to be home today so I answered, chose 1 and then when someone answered I said "I want to be removed from your list and not called again" and she hung up on me.
So I decided, "fine. I'll report you then."
If it works, great. If not, well it only took me a couple of minutes.

The name of the person wasn't a required field. Name of the company and phone number was.
I gave them the name from the automated message, the number from my caller id, there were some questions to answer, to one I selected other and just said I couldn't understand the woman's name because she didn't state it clearly, I told her to remove me from their list and she hung up on me.
Like I said, not sure if it will work, but if it does I can stop getting that stupid message.
We get these at home and on DH's cell all. the. time. bah.
