Wednesday Night POLL: Twitter

I've only ever ventured onto Twitter once to see what exactly the deal was but now I'm curious about everyone else!

1. Do you Twitter?

2. If so what application do you use? (i.e. UberTwitter, etc)

Re: Wednesday Night POLL: Twitter

  • Nope - I'm of the belief that the *last* thing I need is something else to be addicted to - pretty sure my FB and Nest addictions are enough. Stick out tongue
  • No... it is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of.

LOL...this sounds like me except lately its Nest and Crackberry.  I'm not on my FB account very much.

  • No Twitter here...I don't "get" it.  Why anyone would want to know what I am doing every other second of the day is beyond me.  Maybe I am too old?

  • No Twitter for me, I don't really see the allure of it either.

  • No Twitter or tweeting for me :) I also don't see the need, and quite frankly, DH might kill me if I add another addicting website to my current repertoire!
  • Nope, I don't Twitter.  I barely have time to fb or nest anymore. :-/
  • I twitter every once in a while.  I really like being able to see the people I'm following and their updates more so than entertaining people with my tweets.  I follow a lot of entertainment news on there as well as artists/bands I like.  Its nice to have it all in one place . . kinda like my blog dashboard.  Its one of the sites I check a couple times a day . . So yeah I'm a fan.
  • 1.  I am on twitter and I am becoming a more frequent tweeter!  You can follow me @mommasoll :)

    2.  I just do it directly on the Twitter site, no fancy applications, though my husband is a cofounder of a Twitter app for corporate usage, hence why we are moving out to San Francisco.  Its called CoTweet.

  • No twitter for me either! I'm addicted to facebook, so that keeps me occupied. =)
    Married 6/10/09 in Bermuda.
  • I don't twitter, I guess I get enough updates through FB.

  • No twitter for me. All social networking is blocked at work, I don't have a web-browser phone, and I have enough trouble keeping up with FB at night.
  • I have a regular twitter account, but I think it's really stupid & really don't use it at all.  Maybe I just haven't been on it enough yet though.  I'm not that much into celebrities, so I don't care what they're doing.  And I get other news from my FB account on friends I actually care about.

  • I don't have one and I'm not totally sure I get the appeal. I can understand following news/current events, but I don't think I'd want to update people on what I am doing every second of the day.

    this

  • I signed up for it to follow the crazy batsh$t things Sarah Palin tweets, which is extremely entertaining.   From there I found Rain Wilson (from The Office), he has an interesting perspective on life.  A friend who lives in NYC tweets, I also like seeing her perspective on things as she walks around the city.  Personally I don't think I have anything interesting to tweet about myself.

I would follow it more if there was a nice offical twitter app for the iphone like there is for FB.  Now that I have the AP news app I would not turn to Twitter for news, it seems like every newsoutlet has the "follow us on Twitter" thing going.

  • I have one for my store and it's good in that way. People like getting sale info, blog posts, etc.

I can't even keep up with all of my other stuff already, so I definitely can't handle a personal one, too!

  • LClaire!  I'm following Modern Diapers :)

  • FB & the Nest are enough for me!
  • I don't Twitter.  I won't even register to see what it's all about.
