Happy Thursday!

I'm so glad it's almost Friday!

Anyone do anything exciting last night?  Any big plans for today?

Not much going on around here...just work and hanging out with the family. Glad it's cooling down in the evenings, last night I took Sarah to the park - she LOVES the slide!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Re: Happy Thursday!

  • aww, glad she loved the slide. I went (yes, I went) down the slide w/cameron. good lordy we went down fast. thankfully cameron didn't cry. ha ha

while he was away I ate chocolate ice cream & watched the octomom special. yikes!

  • Good morning :0)
I started my history class last night :0) Im pretty excited about that and I am trying to add an english class as we speak :0)
I miss my babies being lil I use to love watching them play at the park :0)
  • Good morning.

Last night Mary had a late nap which sucked because then we were up too late. But oh, well. We were alone last night because H worked the Depeche Mode concert. Becki, did you go?

Brandy-As if you need anything else to worry about, but in my Parents magazine, they have a "It happened to me" section. And this lady was going down the slide with her kid (older then C) and the grip on his shoe got caught on the side and it broke his shin bone. When she went to the doc I guess he said it wasn't that rare. :(   But I've gone down the slide with Mary too. I guess it's just something to worry about when they are old enough to go down by themselves.

  • Morning....Had a rough night last night.  I have done pretty good with this pregnancy...i haven't been very moody or emotional...but I think it ALL caught up to me last night.   I have been extremly (super bad) achy and uncomfortable and i just broke down and cried; for like an hour.  MH hates it when i cry but he was so sweet and comforted me....so it made me feel a bit better.  Lets hope for a better day today! :-)  I am getting ready to go in for another NST....  :-)  at least it get me out of the house for a bit.....

  • Brandy - how fun! L went on the swing at the park for the first time Friday. I wasn't brave enough for the slide. Our new house has a park about a block away :)

I watched Octomom too. I wanted to cry at the end when all the babies were crying on the floor and she was kind of introducing them all. I wanted to pick them up and cuddle them. Somehow I dont think they get that.

Kristy - Nope, I didnt go. we ended up having to sign out loan docs that night. I dont know what my friend ended up doing with the ticket. That section of Parenting mag scares me! There was one about a dad who feel asleep with a newborn, baby rolled off and broke his collarbone :(

I read that one too! Then like 4 days later Mary fell asleep on my MIL and she said she was going to nap too. I made her put Mary down first!

I stopped reading that section in the magazine...I don't need anything else to worry about.

  • Happy Thursday!

Went to Stater Bros, then Sports Chalet to get my bike fixed yesterday and took D for a run on the bike yesterday. It worked out wonderfully because he got his exercise and I got to work out my knee which has helped make it feel so much better! I also used priceline last night to get a hotel for the San Jose wedding next wkend and got a Sheraton 2 miles away from the reception for $51 a night! The couple blocked rooms at a hotel a mile away for $109 a night so I'm stoked we're saving some money.

Yesterday was also our 2 yr engagement anniversary but we both forgot whoops!

Today Im going to make H's favorite PF Changs lettuce wraps and celebrate a belated engagement anniversary.

Me too! or how about when the little girl was in the backyard really upset? I know she was basically throwing a tantrum but my heart went out to them. Or when they were all on the bed! *shakes head* so, so sad.

True, J&K have a lot of kids but I think they kept things pretty well balanced. If you don't count control freak mom & reliving his college days dad.

  • last night was the usual fun for me. I tried to watch the octomom but got sick of it within 2min. Today probably a trip to target, Isabel really wants the new hannah montana movie Smile

I'm so glad I don't get parenting magazine, I wouldn't be able to stop myself from reading that section

  • Hello.

Yesterday was just plain awful. I am finally getting a break from nausea/vomiting, but the heart palpitations, shortness of breath and dizziness still aren't going away. In fact, now I get dizzy when I'm lying down. I am sure it's probably stress, but it still worries me.  I pretty much slept all day yesterday.

I feel better today though and I need to take it easy because I have a bridal shower tomorrow evening.

  • Good afternoon!

Didn't do much last night.  Laid in bed and watched the Octomom trainwreck.

I went to the hospital this morning to get checked out.  Saw the babies and all is fine.  Now I have a gigantc headache and I am in bed, dreading going back to work.

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!
