DH and I have been at each other about money all week also. Ours got bad enought I spent a night at my parents on Tuesday. My Dh doesnt get how money works...when you slide your debit card the money leaves right then...and now he is so mad at me because he smokes and there is not any money for cigs until friday so all night and day today no smoking...maybe he will quit...hmmm.
I also think that if I am going to try to work another job possibly 2 more...part time work and a partylite consultant, Dh needs to do something! but nooooooo his job is far more important than mine...lets see these are my jobs...Mom, full time medical job, full time student, now im doing the candle stuff and maybe taking on a part time job...and DH does his electrician stuff and is about to start school on just sats....hmmm
=( Im sorry. I hear ya about smoking/dipping. DH dips... He gets mad at me because I spend $75 every 6wks on my hair..Which equals. $645/year.... DH dips A CAN A DAY... at $3/can, sometimes up to $6 (Depending on brand)....that equals $1095/yr...EXCUSE ME, BUT WHO IS SPENDING MORE? He says "it's different?" How? Except that he is eating his lips away and i'm making myself prettier? Both are something that we enjoy!..AGH! ..... It is not DH fault he doesnt get his hours, sometimes the plants closer earlier and he has to leave, so I dont blame him for that- It's just a hard time right now. It just irks me when he starts about my hair!.... DH does do sidejobs as often as possible, so I can not complain about that. He just finished one and he said he will make about $60 on it...
I am sorry you and DH are also fighting about money. Ew. It is the #1 reason couples fight, and especially with the economy like this we all just have to work a little bit harder to not spend so much....
yep and add daycare into that and it makes everything go round!
Ugh daycare gives me the shivers. The very thought of having to pay for daycare someday scares me! That crap cost an arm & a leg! = ( Well i'll cross my fingers that you win Saturdays powerball (lol), i played last night... It was worth the 5 bucks to sit there and dream with DH about what we would do with that 250million....
