I don't quite get the 'summer scarf'
Anyone else? I was just walking around Center City... gross humidity, hot, sun's out... and I see multiple women wearing cute sun dresses with a scarf wrapped around their necks. I don't get it.. aren't they HOT?!

It's like 200% humidity, so let's strangle ourselves with layers of fabric.
Totally agree! My office is freezing, and I'm currently wearing a shrug that actually has wool in it! But, I do not wear it out on the sultry streets of Philly at 12 noon.
