Ha! I've had my door shut all day, but my shift is from 4 to 5.
I'm hoping most kids will have gone home by then.
But I had the worst time at the cafeteria this morning. Too many kids got in my way.
Hopefully they'v had so much sugar that they are in a deep slumber come 4.
i totally wanted to say something either here or on MM about your ordeal today, but i kept my mouth shut.

I gave myself a shift. Nobody wanted to do 4 to 5. My committee is mostly staff, many of whom typically leave at 4:30.
All the kids are gone now! Done early!
