Well that didn't go as planned....

so i went in today for my routine NST.  Well it wasn't so routine, i was having contractions....I had 4 in 30 minutes (and being preterm only allow 4 an hour before you have to come in).  So they had to give me meds to stop the contractions and give me IV fluids (on top of all the water i drink already).  They did check me still dialtated at one...but i was offcially given the words bedrest....BOO!  and if they start again i have to go back to the hospital.  As of now they have subsided and i hope they stay that way....but we will see.....We need at least 2 more weeks!!!!!!!

Shannon-do you know how to knit? Or maybe it's time to join the farmtownies? or sorority life? or all the other games there are

  • Bake little girls! Bake!!

I agree with the pp. FB games kick butt. Do you have a restaurant yet? I waste so much time on those games it isn't funny.

Other suggestions of course books, movies, puzzles.

    How strict is the bedrest?

  • Rest up Shannon!!!
  • Oh, no! Come on little ones...stay in a little longer!

If I think of anything fun to do I'll pass it along.

  • Oh no!  Hopefully you just need rest and the contractions will stop for now.
  • Bake babies, bake.
  • Well that sucks!  Rest up, and try not to worry.  Hugs!

After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

  • I am so sorry, Shannon.  That must have been stressful and scary.  Sending baby-sticky dust your way.

But seriously, I'm glad they could stop your contractions. Maybe now is the time to get into Twilight or a new tv show. How about Netflix? They have the instant stuff on there.

  • Ooooo wont you staaaaaaayyyy just a little bit longer.

Hey bedrest is good for lots of nesting!

  • Sorry about the bed rest :(

Definitely make a restaurant and a farm town- it will definitely pass the time! :)

Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • Thanks for all the good thoughts!  I am allowed to go to the bathroom and get food to eat, but no more trip to the store or anything like that :*(.  Its the couch or the bed for me.
  • You tell those lil' ones I say they need to stay in 2-3 more weeks! Let me know if you need anything. Me and the girls can come visit you next Friday. I am sure they will entertain you! :-)
