Please vote and give me your feedback! I think last year went very smoothly -- I don't think we had anyone who ended up not getting their ornaments and there were so many beautiful ornaments exchanged. Let me know your thoughts for this year!

I do 2 of them, but like PP said, no one says you HAVE to participate in all 3. Thanks for organizing! I enjoyed it last year. It's a lot of fun!

I voted for the same as last year, but I did have an issue with the last round. I sent it before the deadline, and I don't think it got to my nestie buddy until Christmas day, and it was not the ornament I ordered for her. So, maybe two would be better...or three with an earlier deadline for the last one.

I said 2 early Nov and early Dec. Shopping for ornaments in Oct got me excited WAAAAAY too early.

Shanda -- good call! I think I'll do the first Friday of the month as the deadline for mailing -- so December will be 12/2.

Jess -- that's funny! You might have to self-police and opt out of the first one this year.

I'm in! I would prefer that the Dec. deadline be earlier as you said, just because things are too hectic and I think I ended up mailing my third ornament late last year.

I would say 2 rounds, only because I never seem to find very many ornaments in October. I think the stores are still focused on Halloween. However, either way is fine with me. Thanks for organizing!

We use Elfster -- the sign up deadline to opt in or out for each round is usually about 2 weeks before the mailing deadline.

Elfster draws the name of a match for you, only the person who draws your name can see your information (address, wishlist, etc) unless you make the info public. They send you an ornament and reveal on a note or the packaging who they are -- it's a secret nestie ornament exchange basically. There's a $10-15 limit per round. Many nesties specify the color or theme of their trees and we've seen some really beautiful ornaments exchanged.

I would love to participate this year too (even though I'm in Japan I have an APO address so it's the same price). I vote for 2- Nov and Dec- just because it was hard to find ornaments in Oct, but I think it was really fun last year to get ornaments. And I can send my person cool Japanese ones
