Gloucester County College - textbooks?

Hi girls -

My brother's taking microbiology at GCC this fall.  This is the first of a couple classes he's taking at GCC that he didn't do during undergrad, but needs as prereq's for a post-bachelors degree program that he has applied for.  I want to buy his micro book for him as a gift - is there anywhere I can look up what book he'd need and buy it online?  (I live pretty far away, so I can't go there.)  I know that it's microbio, and on Tue/Th nights from 7:30-9:30 (or close to that), so I ought to be able to figure out what class/section it is from a schedule.  Not much else to go on, though.

Any help?  If I can't figure it out, I'll just send him an IOU, but I don't think he knows where to find out yet either!  Thanks.

Re: Gloucester County College - textbooks?

  • You could try calling the bookstore and give them the info you know about the class (hopefully there is only 1 microbio class T/Th at that time).  They should be able to tell you what book(s) are needed for the class.

I have used amazon to order my textbooks bc I found them to have the best prices.

  • Thanks.  I found the section with the booklist for each class.  Luckily there's only one microbio class, with 5 sections that all use the same textbook, which I ordered on textbooks.com for less.  There's a lab package that he'll still need to buy, but it's not the same for each section so I'll skip the guessing.  It's only about $30 anyway, so no biggie for him to buy himself. (the book was about 6 times that!)
