What's going on for the weekend?
Hi ladies...anything exciting happening this weekend? Unfortunately, I don't have anything to do. =/ Hubby told me he is working OT tomorrow (yay for money, boo for missing hubby). I'm going stir crazy in the house after being in it all week, so I really need to get out. Depending on how I feel, I may go swimming by my mom's today and sis's tomorrow...that also depends on the weather...I'm hearing it's going to be a not-so-nice weekend...I hope the weather peeps are wrong. =/ Anyway, what's everyone else doing? Have a wonderful weekend ladies...

We don't really have much planned and i like it that way! There was mention yesterday of walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, but i didn't have the right footware on. So if it somehow *doesn't* rain tonight, i might suggest that to DH. Then maybe dinner in Brooklyn before heading home.
We have the first 2 discs of season 3 of Nip/Tuck that we need to watch. And we also borrowed season 1 of Veronica Mars from a friend. So if it's gross out, we'll stay inside with the A/C aimed at us on the couch while we watch tv!!
Sunday i'm working 2 1hr open houses for this broker that i sometimes work for. He only pays $17.50/hr (it should be $25/hr for weekend OT) so it's only $37 total.
Which isn't all that much worth it, but i'll be inside in a nice apartment, in free A/C and if no one shows up i watch cable tv. 
And i just read that the Miss Universe pageant is on Sun night so i might check that out. Apparently Heidi (of Heidi & Spencer from The Hills) is performing at it and i just might need to catch that trainwreck.

Finally! A Married Bio!!
I LOVE Veronica Mars. I have only seen seasons 1 & 2.
It is my birthday on Monday and I really wanted to go away somewhere, but we didn?t get our act together in time, so now we are stuck in NJ. Hopefully we will have nice weather, since we have nothing planned. On Saturday we might go to a local spa that is having a $39 massage special and then grab dinner with our friends in Red Bank. On Sunday if it is nice, we?ll have folks over for a bbq to celebrate. I am kind of pissed at DH for not planning anything, since he knew for the last few months that I really wanted to go away? L Oh well. Have a good one ladies!
My primary weekend goal is to finish assembling all of the crap we bougth from Ikea yesterday and get all clothes, dishes, etc put away. I am sick of living in a mess!
Other than that, one of my GFs from college is in town, so I'll meet up with her for drinks or something I'm sure. And one of H's friends is also in town, I think we're doing brunch with him and some other people tomorrow. That's about it!

It is my firm belief that if a visitor shows up without any food they should be kicked out on their azz. If they are out of towners they should expect to be put on baby duty while you are allowed to shower, use a blow dryer and put on dry, clean clothes.
Our weekend plans include grocery shopping and going to a 1st birthday party in Bloomingburg that is 2 hours away. So I'm praying to the nap fairies for help on that one.
We're telling the ILs tonight that they will be grandparents!! they are coming to stay with us for the weekend (should be arriving soon!). DH and I are both so excited - hee hee.
Our plans for the weekend mostly focus around hanging out with them, entertaining them. I'm really hoping to get a trip & picnic in to governor's island. I've never been and think it would be a neat thing to do with them. We also have a 'fancy' dinner out planned for tomorrow night (they just don't know it will be a celebration dinner). Ok, seriously, I get too giddy about surprises.
