anyone have these or know ppl that do? comments?
We are gonna be trading in my Chevy HHR for an SUV. These are the ones we are trying to decide from:
Kia Sorento LX
Ford Escape
Honda CRV EX
Hyundai Santa Fe/ Tuscan
Chevy Equinox
Im trying to talk DH into going and looking at them today. Ill let you know if we do. Im leaning towards the Honda CRV or Ford Escape. Has anyone had these SUVs or known anyone that has that could give me advice (good or bad)?

Two of my sisters have the Honda CRVs. Both of them love them from what I know. This is the 2nd one for one of my sisters. My step dad has the Ford Escape. It is okay, it is not my favorite. Mechanically wise he has not had any problems. IMO it is not very comfortable when traveling. My sister had it before my step dad and she and I drove from Central FL to Kentucky to see our Papa..& IMO it is very loud.... this is an older escape, 01 or so... so they could be better now. G/L... have fun!
I have a few friends with Ford Escapes and they seem to love them. I don't know anything really specific about why, so I'm probably not a lot of help there.
I don't have much info on the others, so maybe you could look for online reviews to help decide once you've narrowed it down to a few choices. Good Luck looking!
We have a Honda CRV (2002) but its great!
fairly good on gas, decent size, easy to drive, the controls are laid out nicely!
The newer ones are nicer (with digital spedometer and stuff!)
I've driven a couple different ones, since my last roommate (last year) had a newer CRV, it was nice too!
I have two friends with the CRV (one is on her second one, the other is on her third!). They love them so much that they just keep getting new ones when their leases are up.
My cousin has the Kia Sorrento and loves it. She's driven Kia's for years and swears by them.
