Crap Crap CRAP! Busted camera!

I am a big big dork! I was trying to take pics of my new chandalier and I wanted to used my tripiod, but I was missing the piece that attaches the camera to the top of it. Unfortunately, that didn't disuade me and I simply set the camera on top. I turned my back and heard a bang and my camera had fallen *over* the railing and onto the stairs - a 10 foot fall! Needless to say, the camera is toast and DH isn't too pleased with me - considering that he bought it for me as a gift last year. Grrr, $1900 down the friggin' tube! Now I won't have a good camera to take with me to Cabo at the end of Sept Sad I am so peeved at myself. Ugh, I am an idiot!

  • I'm sorry.  That so suck!

And I was irritated that my DVD player appears to be broken!

  • ooooh no, that sucks so bad :(

that is worse than my 2 recent losses:

    - broke the glass on the top of my coffee table (stupid oops)

    - lost a small diamond out of my semi-eternity wedding band (no idea where it went... just noticed this morning!!!)

This happened to me at my nephew's hockey game this past winter. Sucks huge!

  • OMG yikes... Mel that is a super bummer. Big time.
  • Oh no!!! Is there any chance it can be repaired? or would the cost be high enough that you're just better of to get a new camera (eventually)
  • Can you celebrate your condo sale with a new camera?? Big Smile

My friend recently dropped and broke her camera that was about a year old and apparently the credit card she bought it on covered it so maybe you can look into finding out if your credit card has automatic insurance on it? She said apparently most people just don't even know they have it but she worked at a bank and that's how she knew about it.
