My H & I took the dogs for a swim at Lake Isabella on Friday night - to enjoy the last of their Summer Concert series.
Saturday morning I got up and ran 10 miles with my training group. Then I sat down.
Sunday - yoga & then mexican food with friends. Remained sitting down for most of the day.
Mine was great!! My birthday was Saturday... My parents took us out to dinner on Friday night and then we played cards with them and my sister and her husband later.
Saturday morning/early afternoon... First Watch for brunch then shopping at Kenwood with my cousin!
Saturday night... My husband took me to the Melting Pot for dinner! I LOVE that place, yum! Then, we met up with a few friends for some drinks. Then, he surprised me by booking a room at the historic Mariemont Inn. He had champagne and strawberries already in the room, as well as birthday presents (gym shoes and perfume!). I love that he put so much effort into making my first birthday as a married woman so very special
It was pretty laid back. Friday we went to watch my nieces at soccer practice then picked up dinner and hung out at my parents house.
Saturday I ran at the park then watched some soccer games, went grocery shopping then went home and made some stuff for a block party. We went to the block party in the evening.
Sunday I went to church then went to help my parents cut the grass at my granparents farm. It was an adventure. We went out to Falmouth and then my mom realized they forgot the key. We had to drive to 3 different places to find it and after all was said and done we didn't get home until 9pm.
Mine was crazy busy, but productive!
saturday I got up around 7 and started working around the house. Then met my dad at our old house and he and I took down the garage door opener and our paddle fan to bring over to the new house. As soon as I got done there I met the pest control people at the new house then started hanging pictures (for 3 hours!!!!) and then continued bringing stuff over from the old house to the new, all while working on making sure everything was ready for my sisters bridal shower on Sunday. Basically by the time I sat down to go to bed on Saturday my feet hurt so bad I wanted to cry!
Sunday, DH took me to breakfast then my sis and I got pedicures, I went home to finish up food for the bridal shower then packed my car up and went to set up for the bridal shower, got home and finished unloading and cleaning up around 1:30am and literally fell in to bed!!
Mine was good.
We painted the floors in teh guest room. Bought new deck furniture. Got the blog up and going. went for mexican. Saw district 9, H really needs friends who will see movies like that with him.
All around it was good.
Saturday I went to Findlay Market and Wilfert Farms to get produce. Came home and played with my new food dehydrator and did chores. Sunday, went to church, drained the pool so we can knock it down, did some yard work, more chores. I'm so ready for a fun weekend!!
Sooo i had to leave but my weekend was cool... I had a party on Friday night which was really FUNNN!!!
Saturday the hubby and I did nothing and then went b2school shopping for the kid which was super fun!!!!!
Sunday my son had his first modeling photo shoot..I was sooo proud of him and then my BFF had shower #2..
