How are you doing for fitness/weight loss!?
It has been 2 weeks since I scared myself at 162 lbs and I'm "down" to 159! woohoo. My next goal is set for 155 for Sept 21. I have to skip a couple workouts because of some committments at home, which is too bad, but I'm trying harder to watch what I eat!
Anybody have any accomplishments or struggles to share?
Re: How are you doing for fitness/weight loss!?
I'm struggling big time. I have no restraint. I really need to buckle down and commit to a routine. I think when DH goes back to work in Sept, I'll be able to get DD and I into our own solid routine (DH likes to be spontaneous and it has thrown my routine life into a fun chaos for a while).
What will be the real challenge is watching what I eat. I've been a machine lately
Good for you!
I, unfortunately, can tell that I have put of a few lbs. I have become a slave to chips and take-out for the past 3 weeks since the house and condo have been in chaos. Our sale is still in limbo, so I tend to snack to distract myself from the stress of it. The salt in all the stuff I've been eating has totally made me puff up...hopefully this week I will be back on track.
On Tuesday I weighed myself and I am only 4lbs above my pre-pregnancy weight. Not bad for not being able to do anything due to the c/s.
My plan once I get the all clear from our midwife is to go for walks daily with Ben and go cardio/weights 3 times a week.
I am still eating really good so I just need to make sure I keep up the same diet.
I sure hope my feet don't grow 2 sizes, cuz i'm already a size 11, Ill have to by clown shoes if I have kids :P good for you for going out and getting some new shoes!! baby steps right
that's awesome about eating healthy, good for you!!! hopefully you get the all clear soon!
Well, I'm running at least 3x per week but I'm totally struggling when it comes to my meal plan. I really need to find some healthy recipes rather than sticking to the same old things we always make. I had been contemplating joining WW just for the first 3 months so that I could get a handle on portion sizes, etc...and take it from there.
I know I'm not going to lose weight by sticking with the same eating plan!
