Good MOrning (monday)

Was everyone else's weekend too short? Mine seem like it was non existent.

Sat I worked OT until about 2. Than we tried to get ready to go visit the IL's but it never happen, instead I just took Isabel to go do some errands. Than grabbed some dinner. Watched the new Hannah Montana movie :)

Sun-Made it to the IL's, afterwards I went grocery shopping, than just more hanging out at home.

Re: Good MOrning (monday)

  • Kat~Yeah, working on the weekend always makes it that much shorter. Sad

Good morning. I know I haven't been around much the last few weeks. Work has been busy and I've spent mos of my free time looking at houses online. So over this house hunting thing.

Sat, I got up early, went to the Farmer's Market in Redlands, then to Vons and Trader Joes, then we walked through houses for a couple of hours, then I met my mom for Pedi's, then we went to MIL's house for a few hours while I fixed her computer and H fixed her alarm system. Came home and finally rlaxed a bit. Sunday went to work to teach my Anger Mgnt class, came home, we drove by another 13-14 houses to see what we want to walk through, then came home, ordered some pizza and I cought up on some blog reading and writing. So exciting, I know.

  • Melinda - GL with house hunting, I know we might start looking again soon but Im dreading it. Takes up so much time and so frustrating!

My weekend actually felt long enough for once!

Friday - hung out with H, made lettuce wraps for dinner, then fell asleep on the couch at 930...

Sat - Went car shopping which was a bust thanks to the clunker deal, started work on a new invitation, took D for a walk, made my new fav roast beef sandwich for dinner then my knee started hurting again so laid up on the couch watching shows on DVR

Sun - Tried to install the new rectractable screen door and got about halfway done (need to go to HD for some stuff before we can finish it), tried to get my hair cut but they had no appts, ran a bunch of errands and hung out with my neighbor for a bit. We watched Rachel Getting Married which was a weird movie and went to bed.

This week is a short wk for me since we leave on Friday for San Jose to attend H's best man's wedding...excited about having friday off but not excited about going to this wedding...

Tonight I'm leaving work early to get my hair cut. H had a sore throat this morning and didnt feel well so he stayed home...hoping he'll feel better by the time I get home.

  • Happy Monday!  I can't believe it's here already...I'm exhausted!  We had a decent weekend...busier than I originally wanted but it was fun.  Except the part where I need a new radiator in my car and I won't get it back until tomorrow!  C went to the movies on Saturday afternoon so Sarah and I had a girls fun day with some shopping and hanging out.  Then we went to Del Mar Beach at Camp Pendleton for most of yesterday.  Sarah LOVED the beach...especially eating the sand and RUNNING through it like it was nothing.  C and I have super-sore legs today from running after her all day!  She fell asleep on the way home but when I got her out of the car to get her to bed, she woke up and wouldnt' go back to sleep until after midnight then was up at 6:15am.  It's going to be a long day...

No plans for tonight except sleep.  :-)  I have a Jr League work thingy tomorrow night and then a Jr League party Thursday night, so I'll have kind of a busy week.

Hope everyone has a great day!

  • Typical of when DH has a gig on the weekend, we saw very little of him.  Saturday we did go to a birthday party, but we weren't there for very long at all since he had to be getting ready for that nights gig.  And I was more than happy to get out of there when I saw that one of the kids had blisters all over his hands and mouth!  I can't say for sure it was an infection, but it sure looked like it.  Who would bring a kid with that to a party?!

Charlotte has started back up with the 4 month wakeful.  We start our bed time routine at 8 every night.  She fell asleep for half an hour at 9, then was up till 1.  She ate again at 1 then slept till 3.  Then she was finally out from 4 untill 9.  This will not work!!!!  She's a night owl like her dad for sure.  As hard as I try to get her on an early bedtime, it just doesn't stick. I.am.so.tired.

Wonder if it was foot and mouth disease...it is SO CONTAGIOUS!!  Why would they bring their kid to a party?  Even if it wasn't F&M I still wouldn't bring my kid to a party looking like that and freaking out the other parents!

Still ahving contractions, but still ok. :-)  Then I go to see the doc tomorrow! :-)
  • (Afternoon! :) I know its a little late)

Friday: Hung out with some friends from HS, played with puppies.

Saturday: Cleaned house for part of the day, went to visit my Great Aunt who had a stroke :(, delivered Pampered Chef, went to Bed Bath and Beyond and got some AMAZING soy candles- sooo yummy smelling! and hung out with H when he got home. Oh- played with puppies :)

Sunday: Cleaned more, played with puppies, delivered more Pampered Chef, visited friends who moved to the area and were painting their house, went shopping for the puppies and cats, then had an AAA fiasco- Charles' tire blew out on the freeway, but I went cheap last year and got the regular coverage since we have new cars, and he needed a 47 mile tow! So fought with them around midnight to get my H off the freeway, and got them to agree to tow to my home :)  I shall never again try to save money by decreasing AAA Coverage lol!

Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • Morning. I'm effin miserable today. I caught a cold (in August?!?!) and am hating life. On top of that, my left eye is totally messed up today. It's sensitive to everything. I can't keep it open for more than a few seconds.  : / That led to a headache. I just want to crawl into a cave today.

  • Good Afternoon!  My weekend was not existant!  Today was my first day with students so I spent the whole weekend in my classroom getting things ready.

On Saturday night DH and I went to a party to celebrate DH's hockey team winning their league cahmpionships.

Sunday night went to dinner at Famous Dave's to celebrate DH's and SIL's birthdays.

I am happy to have survived my first day.  I don't think this year will be as bas as I had expected.  I am teaching a combo class and didn't know what to expect, but I think it will turn out alright!

When DH gets home tonight we are supposed to go get out new iPhones (if AT&T got them in).

How scary, but glad everything turned out alright.  It is a nice hospital but the beds are uncomfortable.  That is one reason why I didn't rush there when I was in labor.  I made it to 5 cms before I went in. I was there so much that I didn't even take the tour and I wasn't even high risk.
