Have you gotten your marriage license back yet? I tried going to the Social Security office, but they wouldn't take my other certificate. Thought I'd just see how/if yours was progressing. Thanks!!

Absolutely NOT!! It isn't as big of a deal to me anymore now that I was able to get my SS# changed, but that is just seriously ridiculous! I have been married for 8 weeks now! I can't imagine it takes that much effort to file the correct paperwork and mail it out...but who knows.
Have you called the Court House?? It took me three phone calls weeks ago for them to call me back, and the person who called me back wasn't even part of the marriage license office.

That's too bad! I was hoping if you had gotten yours, mine wouldn't be far behind.
I always just get the VM when I call there too. I figure it's probably not worth leaving a message just to be told the same thing you had already heard.
