So what's the deal with vera bradley? why is she so popular and what's the typical population who purchases her stuff? I never understood the vera bradely phenomenon well.

I am actually not huge on vera bradley. However,I love pink and green and she just so happens to have a pink and green collection on Rue La La...hence my excitement.

gotcha! I think the pinwheel pink is one of the better collections. That being said, should I get my soon to be 13 year old niece a pinwheel pink backpack or a messenger bag. She loves vera bradley so I think I will pick up some gifts for her but am stuck on the backpack vs. messenger bag.

I would think that "kids" these days would prefer a messenger bag, but that is just my opinion.

I've never gotten into Vera Bradley. I fear I will never understand the hoop-la. I'm very excited for Hale Bob later this week though.

I have a large duffle and you can fit an entire weekend's worth of stuff in there. It's like the bag that never ends. I love it.

Pinwheel pink is my favorite collection. It is on rue la la cause it is on sale on verabradley.com because they are retiring the color. It came out in January of 2008 as the Breast Cancer Awareness collection and 10% of the proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I just bought the laptop bag and backpack.

I currently have the messenger bad, large duffel, super tote, cosmetics case, make up case, brush case, and the zip ID case. Wow can you tell I am obsessed, but I loveeee the color combination.

I have a Vera duffle and it's great for weekend/overnight trips. you can machine wash all her stuff, too. I also have a couple totes, jewelry case and a makeup bag.

Her ditty bag is great - it has a plastic lining inside. We use it to pack our toiletries.

i am not a fan....but my 12 yr old stepdaughter has a lot of vera bradley stuff. i really think it is a younger thing!
