Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Travel Question
Does anyone know if the public transportation is pretty good in Seattle? I am thinking about going there for a couple of days and I'm wondering if I need to rent a car. I will be staying at the W hotel, does anyone know if it's pretty central to restaurants, shopping, etc?

Hmm. We've never rented a car, but we also didn't take public transportation. We got around on foot and in cabs.
I've never stayed at the W there, so I don't even know where it's located, but yay for the W!
seattle proper is pretty small, and i think there is a free bus around downtown and to certain parts of the city. last time i went, we would ride the bus in with our friends who live 30 mins. outside seattle. i do have a friend who lives downtown and does not own a car and gets around fine (although she does do flexcar).
no idea where the W is in relation to things, though.
