Has anyone ever tried this? I'm craving them, but I don't feel like driving to In N Out, though driving to the store is manageable.
Re: Animal fries - DIY?
OMG, I want some so bad right now.
It's right across the street from me right now and I will have to use all of my self control to not stop there when I leave work in a minute.

holey fuuuuuk. Maybe I should just drive there. Ehhh, I can't. That would entail me having to get on the freeway (I called in sick today).
Or maybe, I can stop there on my way back from the gym.
WM that article made me sigh something awful.
Y_L is evil for posting the picture!
how would you "make" the fries anyhow?
So evil.
I was going to buy frozen fries and bake them!
frozen fries are just wrong. but I suppose you could pour a bottle of thousand island dressing over it if you wanted to be super lazy.
go big or go home! hey, at least you can drive there - no in 'n out in lithuania. ;(
Animal Fries w/ out onion. Yum
I always order the grilled cheese. I'm surprised root beer floats weren't on the secret menu. I'm kind of obsessed with those now.
I am really, really sad for you
Sorry dude. Not trying to be mean...I just knew it would be the closest I would get to them tonight.
it's ok, licking the screen is as close as I'm going to get to them, too.
I seriously love their root beer floats. One of my last treats before going on the gestational diabetes diet was cheese fries, an animal style grilled cheese, and a root beer float (more on the soda side than the ice cream side).

Me neither!! Texting the husband to add that to my order!!
I did not read the whole thread, but you do know that animal fries from In-N-Out are like $1.35, right?
I'm just sayin.
I have ordered them at multiple locations and they are usually over $3.00. I want to know where you are getting them because I need to go there.
Oh I just made that price up.
I thought everything at In-N-Out was $2 or less since I can completely pig out and spend nothing but change.
Plain fries are cheap, but once you add the "animal" the price goes up.
My order at In-N-Out always ends up being like $8 because I get grilled onions, animal fries, and a shake.
Weemz- the pic of the Kogi taco in this article just made my mouth water. Have you tried them? I've been wanting to try their food for some time now. Just haven't had time to wait in line 2 hrs for tacos.
FYI - The "Flying Dutchman" has no bun. The artical says it does.
H gets it all the time. He has to eat it with a fork.
I've not. My brother told me they were only ok, and he didn't even have to wait because he has a connection that allowed him to go to the front of the line. This has not inspired me to track the truck.
If you'd like to try, they are resident at the Alibi Room -- no need to wait two hours!
