Has your doctor been checking your thyroid levels at all? I know that in early pregnancy thryoid levels can be out of whack and cause hypothyroidism. And hypothyroidism can lead to placental abruption. Just a thought. My mom and I happened to be talking about it today because I have thyroid problems.

Re: **Stacy**

  • I know she did last week at my normal visit with her and they were fine because i had concerns about them prior to pregnancy. Thank you for asking though :)
  • Well I'm glad to hear she checked and your levels were normal. If you had thyroid problems prior to getting pregnant be sure your doctor checks your levels like every 4 - 6 weeks. I felt like I was always having my blood drawn for it...but better safe then sorry.
