I have done, well, pretty much nothing at work all week. This is getting to be a very bad habit for me but, it's just a dry spell around here and I don't havr the energy to keep myself busy planning for spring stuff that I won't even be here for. *slaps own wrist*
I'm meeting one of my best friends for dinner tonight and I still haven't gotten her a birthday gift (her b-day was on 8/1 but, I haven't seen her in person). I have NO CLUE what to get her. She has everything and is so hard to buy for...ack!
The happy news is that it finally cooled down here and it is a gorgeous day!!! :-)

Not too much to report for me either. I've been trying to stay productive at work, keep our home somewhat in order, spend time with DH and stay on my running schedule.
I'm headed to the state fair this weekend! Yay! I'm not sure about everyone else's state fairs, but in Minnesota, it is a huge deal. Every radio and TV station talks about it and generally broadcasts from the fair. Over 1 million people attend in 12 days, which I believe is about 20% of our state's population. Needless to say, I am breathing state fair.
I am the ONLY one at work today. Everyone else is at the fair working, except one other co-worker who is sick today. I never realized growing up that so many people went to work and did NOTHING. It's a weird concept! Today I have actually been busy and working all morning, but somedays, I tend to sit on the internet and fiddle with organizing my office. I wish I could work 20 super productive hours instead of 40+ somewhat productive hours.
