What's going on for the weekend?
I'm not happy about the rain and am pretty sure it's supposed to rain all day tomorrow, which kind of puts a damper on the block party I'm supposed to go to. =/ If does rain, they'll have it Sunday tho'...so we'll see. Today, after work, I'm supposed to get my butt back to the gym (haven't seen the inside of it in almost 2 weeks) and then I'll make a cake for the pending block party tonight...and that's about it for me. What are your plans for the weekend?

Ohh, this is a good question, because I really don't know!! haha
Tonight, I really might try and get myself to the gym to go swimming, but I've been saying that every day this week and it never happens because I'm too tired or too nauseous. so....maybe swimming tonight.
I have no plans tomorrow. DH is supposed to go hiking with a bunch of friends (I opted out because its a difficult climb and I've not been feeling up to physical exertion lately). But, they might get rained out.
Sunday: we're helping a good friend move to brooklyn - I think I'm going to be car sitting while DH and friend unpack the car.
I really should get some light housework done, drop off laundry and such, but this is going to be a relaxing weekend for me and DH!!
TGIF ladies!!
Tonight; going to see that movie September Issue, about Anna Wintour from Vogue, with my friend that i haven't seen in a while. And i'm pretty sure we'll get a drink afterwards or something.
Tomorrow; hopping on a train and heading to West Orange, NJ to spend the day with our friends and their month old daughter! We'll probably be home by early evening and we'll just chill.
Sunday; no plans! We really do need to pick up the apartment. And maybe grocery shop. And catch up on Netflix.
It's hard to make plans with the impending rain though. I thought going to the Highline might be a nice idea for Sunday, but not if it's wet outside.

Happy Friday and good luck with the gym, Bonnie and Liza. I hate the gym Hahahaha.
I don't have anything planned this weekend. I think DH is going to be working all weekend so I am going to try to tackle some small projects at home and possibly cook. Plus I need to rest up for Labor Day Weekend, for all the Caribbean/West Indian activities taking place then.

Tonight we are going to LI for dinner for a friend's bday. A lot of my friends are going so it should be fun.
Tomorrow, DH and his friend are going to Taconic park to train for their tri-athalon that they are doing in October. It's the first time they are going to be able to put all three (run, bike, swim) together because there is no easy place to do that in the city. I will be chillin' at home, and then I have a bellydance gig in NJ in the evening.
Sunday I may go to some Disney timeshare expo with my mom, then I'm dancing at Hush sunday night.

I'm actually off to the gym now. Then heading to the Yankee Game tonight, as long as the rain holds out and they can play. Tomorrow is my favorite Aunt's surprise 50th B-day party and I'm soo looking forward to it. 
Sunday probably just cleaning the house and relaxing. Have a great weekend ladies!

Sunday DH has a fantasy football draft, so I might go find a dress for my step-bro's wedding that's only a month away.

Tomorrow night, a birthday/dinner party.
I need to get a 15-mile run in there somewhere, but am thinking of pushing it to Monday morning since I'm sure we'll be out late both nights! One of the benefits of unemployment....haha.

yeh- i get to be a NY Nestie for the weekend...
i'm traveling home as we speak via amtrak to LI for the weekend (attending a wedding)...sadly although I left the office early...I'm working until I arrive
It's been a good week--a long one--but nonetheless, I'm elated for the weekend.
Friday: Grabbing a light dinner and drinks with a co-worker in the city, so looking forward to that.
Saturday: Domestic labor (got to get the laundry done), then I have dance practice with my group; and the rest of the evening is up in the air, but will probably catch up with a girlfriend over a glass of wine.
Sunday: Hopefully church, if I can make it, since DH has to use the car to take his grandmother to the airport, as she's headed back to Jamaica. (It's getting too chilly here for her now). Definitely, cook and relax with a good book.?
