Yup. They sold one of the airplanes (we had 2). And the plane they sold is the plane that MH proposed to me on

Still here until the sell the second plane. At least that's what they are telling us. They could surprise us and change their minds (doubt it) or decide to close us down even before the plane sell.
Yep he surprised me at work (we weren't up flying or anything) and the guys here at work helped him out by hiding him on the plane and then asking me to come look at something. And there he was on the plane with rose petals spread and a huge bouquet of roses. So romantic
I'm determined to take home the model of the airplane that we have here at the office for sentimental reasons.
He is creative, that was such a good plan! You mst have been shocked!!
Well, we are in the same boat then...re: our jobs. It's a waiting game now. I am hoping to be here through the end of the year...or at least until Dec.
Will they tell you more in a few months or do you think it'll be sprung on you guys? I'm figuring we'll find out the second plane sold and then the next day asked not to come into work.
Have you started looking for other opportunities? Or will you wait it out until the end and then start looking?
I'll know more in about 2 weeks. It isn';t going to be a same day type scenario. TG.
I have started looking a bit and have updated my resume, but haven't applied to anything yet.

I've updated my resume but haven't applied for anything. I think our plan is for me to wait it out and then collect severance and unemployment while I look for something else.
My plan will be the same. I want my severance package, dangit! LOL. It is going to be really hard to find something around the holidays anyways.
Hopefully you have a lot more time there. It took them so long to sell the first plane.
