He must've been stuck in my garbage can for days. My dog kept jumping on my deck box & barking into the garbage can. This particular dog barks at shadows for days. So I didn't think much of it. Maybe he thought he saw something.
Well yesterday I decided to see what the heck he was barking at. It was a friggin possum!!! I ran screaming into my house like a little girl. I called 311 and they told me that since it was in my yard, there was nothing they could do. Maybe bloomberg should fix that crap instead of trying to win me over with his mta plan that he should've worked on anyway. But I digress....
I rigged up this pole. I took a mop (wide head) and attached it to a broom handle (unscrewed of course). I attached both of those things to an extendable paint stick. I tried to tip the garbage pail over from my bedroom window. I apparently am too neat and the pail wouldn't tip because it nestled just so against the fence.
When rob came home he freed the pail & used my nifty device to tip the pail over. This poor thing must've been starving. We went into my neighbor's yard & ate peaches that had fallen off the tree. We haven't see it since. I felt so bad for it though.
