Fingers crossed, good vibes, prayers the whole nine yards!
I put an offer on a short sale almost 3 weeks ago. Found out today that they are not even going to look at it b/c the bid was too low. (BS if you ask me the home has been for sale for 2 years.. I offered accordingly).
Anyways.... moving on... I found a house today on line AMAZING! Its a Vantage Homes house. It has everything and then some! The pictures are amazing. Its just a little bit further north than what my cut off was... but seriously for this house I would tack on the extra 10 minute commute to work.
So my realtor is going to look at it in person and take pictures and video for me. She has taste just like mine and knows exactly what I want and what I will or will not settle for.
Send good thoughts and vibes and prayers that this will work out and we will get this house! If we do, Party TOTALLY at my place once we get settled! haha.

Yeah. The sellers want until 9pm your time. One of them is a mailperson and is out on the field. They haven't gotten a chance to sit down and really look at the offer. Seller's agent says that they appreciate the offer and will be in touch. My agent says that it sounds like they will be easy to work with. Hopefully they will be easy enough to work with that they will accept our offer, or that we will quickly reach a good agreement.
I seriously love this house. I will be heart broken if we don't get it. But I'm tyring to think positive that we WILL get it and that we will be under contract for that house any day now.

I may know the sellar. One of my train commuting buddies is a postal worker from RR with a home for sale. (And being me, I couldn't tell you his name. All I can do for the 5am trainers is remember faces!)
