WHY did NONE of you tell me how EFFING cold it was in San Francisco!!?!?!!!?!
Lol, legit, I just froze my ass off over here. Coworker and I went down to Pier 39, had a nice dinner, did a wine tasting (I got hammah'd and bought FOUR bottles to bring home with me) and, because apparently my halter top and jeans weren't warm enough for AUGUST, I was forced (cough... although I wanted one anyways) to spend a blasted $30 on a San Fran sweatshirt. Blasted weather.
I have to say tho, I'm impressed with how EVERYONE out here apparently drives a Mercedes, Beemer, Volvo, Infinity, etc luxury car. WTF do you all do out here!?! I mean, peeps in Boston have nice cars, but here... it's EVERYONE. Coworker and I are rollin around in a new rented Corolla, which I love, but dammit... We should have sprung for the luxury car haha
Re: Califormia Friends
There's a saying, "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco."?
At least you had an excuse to buy a sweatshirt though:)?
And, um, obviously I meant CaliforNia, and not CaliforMia. Spelling FAIL.
Also, SBS, it was like, maybe 60 degrees in SF. Legit. FREEZING. Gah. I was not pleased lol...
And I think I might love that quote haha

umm fyi Stjoes, it's randomly effing chilly out over here on the east coast yesterday/today. Like 59 and it feels like fall. It's August so this makes me sad!
Have fun on the rest of your trip! and maybe you should head to LA to see the sun?
Sorry I'm late, but there is a HUGE difference between the bay area and southern Cal. I don't post much, but I live just south of San Fran and on some days there is a huge difference between my town and the city. I just went to the city last weekend to shop and hang out and it was freezing and foggy there and sunny at home. I even have had to buy one of those sweatshirts in the past while showing my mom around because it gets so freaking cold there. I think it is a great city, but it is not known for being warm; however, it might be warm there today. It is pretty hot around here.
I know what you mean about the car thing. I'm a teacher, so thankfully I hang out with a bunch of people who drive normal cars.
