Re: Weekend plans?
Getting ready for Fall Semester to REALLY begin (this week I was only teaching at one campus -- next week I start teaching at the other campus, AND my grad classes start, AND I go back to working in the writing center). So, that means:
(1) Laundry
(2) Shopping for school supplies/work clothes
(3) Putting the finishing touches on both my syallbi
(4) Summer reading assignments
(5) Getting the house cleaned up/ready in general
(6) Enjoying the last few moments of rest that I can....
Going to a friend's wedding in our home state. I can't wait to eat wedding cake on Saturday. And when hubby booked the hotel room, he signed up for the "romance package."
We're also seeing his parents for the first time since the wedding and they'll see the professional pics for the first time. And we'll give them their big portrait of us that they want to frame. His mother is worried about why we're printing pics ourselves instead of getting "the professional ones the photographer can do." Um, because we bought the rights to the photos and we don't want to pay a 500% markup for pictures?!?!
Tonight: Baseball game - $2 happy hour with some friends
Tomorrow: Trying out a recipe for blueberry scones, replacing vanities and faucets for DH's parents in the morning, then car shopping, putting a coat of stain of my dresser refinishing project
Sunday: Maybe going to church - we havent been since the wedding - oops and finishing the dresser project, maybe going boating if it warms up - its only supposed to be 75 though so I doubt it

Fri: Appt with hairstylist for coloring
Sat: Waiting out the expected rainstorm and probably going to buy something to wear to my cousins funeral
Sun: I don't know. Probably either be studying for my exam or driving to MA.
All weekend: Hemming and hawwing and feeling sick to my stomach because I want to be up there but can't bc of my job. I really, really, really just want to say eff it to the job.

DH and I are hiking my first 14er... he's done quite a few but I've never done it, so it should be alot of fun! We're also camping tonight and tomorrow night.. I haven't been camping yet this summer, so I can't WAIT!!!
We initially had a few other people going with us but they've all dropped out and at first I was pissed that they bailed, but now I'm really looking forward to some alone time with DH.
Tonight-spend time with hubby.
Saturday-cleaning, laundry, dinner with mom
Sunday-catch up on DVR shows
tonight: wings night w/ good friends of ours and perhaps a movie
tomorrow: visiting my bro at his new dorm! and then dinner w/ the ILs for FIL's bday
Sunday - not sure
Saturday: Work Out, Grocery Store, Cleaning, followed by a Rascal Flatts Concert
Sunday: Hopefully nothing
Today maybe to the gym all my running around is done yea and bills are paid.
Saturday and Sunday work other then that not really sure what we are doing
Friday - DH is going to Chicago, so I'll be home alone with no car. I guess I'll be watching movies and reading.
Saturday - farmer's market (biking there); laundry; cleaning house; music festival out at a friend's parents' lake house
Sunday - church (also for the first time since the wedding); finish cleaning
Tonight: stupid home physical appointment to finish up life insurance policies, meeting 4 of DH's best friends and their SO's for dinner
Tomorrow: haircut (YAY! NO MORE LONG WEDDING HAIR!), softball game, then going to a Mexican CookOff Party tomorrow night
Sunday: church, lunch with parents, laundry/cleaning/chores, etc.
Tonight, just trying to get over this migraine. DH and I were planning to go out with a friend (our best man), but since I am not feeling so well I'll probably tell DH to go without me. Maybe RedBox it, watch a chick flick and write thankyou notes on the couch (yes i know, soo late on the TYs- i'm taking my time with them since i'm still waiting for pro pics to come back)
Saturday, maybe the farmers market, cleaning the house a bit, and helping my sister move back into town - yay!
Sunday, regular shopping/workweek prep, and an awesome concert in Ithaca!
Hmmm, lets see:
A haircut (it's already been 7 weeks since the big chop!)
Going to Le Garage Sale
Going to a Sister 7 reunion show
Hopefully doing a whole lot of nothing else!

Today go to a Greek festival and when we get back watch Monk.
Saturday go out with Jr cousin, his wife and 2 kids. Not sure what we'll do yet, they want to take a drive to the forest, I am thinking that won't be too much fun with a 1 and 3 year old.
Sunday go bowling with 2 of our friends (one of our GM and BM).
Tonight I had to work late - which I NEVER do.
Tomorrow I might run to the mall with my friend, but I doubt it just because I don't want to get up early and drive to her house. Jason has to work tomorrow night, so my guess would be popcorn and a movie for me.
Sunday, nothing. We finished our bathroom floor Thursday, so we don't have to worry about that this weekend. Jason has to work again. I am very jealous of people spending the weekend with their hubbies!
