It was amazing. My dr confirmed my pregnancy with an ultrasound. I was crying from the moment I stepped in the room because I was so scared. But it was such a relief to see and hear our baby. The heartrate was 143, which I am happy with. I had another pap since I was do for my follow-up anyway. They took 6 vials of blood, which really wasn't all that bad. I have to go on Monday to do the diabetes test that they normally do not test for until later in the pregnancy because of my family history of diabetes. I also opted to have a neural tube ultrasound that will figure out my chances of downs syndrom (I'm really too young for this to happen, but insurance covers it and I do have a family history). That test is next month. DH and I really could not be more thrilled!

Kelly, I'm so glad that all is well with you and your little bean! Post a pic if you get a chance :-)
Good choice to go for the NT Scan - I thought it was completely worth it since it was non-invasive and it's great to be able to have the reassurance of seeing the baby again before your 20 week anatomy scan.
