Sunday Confession
I broke down and bought a pair of skinny jeans. I didn't care for the trend when it first started but I wanted a pair to wear with my black high heeled boots this fall/winter.
I went safe though and got a dark blue pair at Old Navy and since they were doing some crazy sale that someone posted about on D&R yesterday they were only $19. That way if I decide I hate them it wasn't like they were the price of Rock and Republic ones

I really like Old Navy jeans. I have a few pairs and they have lasted very well for me.
Enjoy your new jeans! (Although I am one of the people who are hoping the skinny jeans fad passes quickly!). Wearing them with black boots sounds adorable!
I honestly hated the trend before but I saw someone wearing them on tv (probably an episode of Miami Social or some other Bravo show) and they looked so chic I thought well maybe I'll try them out...LOL.
I have a pair of Old Navy capris from years ago but I've not had their jeans before but at $19 I can't complain if they only last a season!
Honestly I was worried about the butt and hips because I have "skater butt" but DH said they looked hot...LOL. He's good that way...if something is a dud he'll tell me even if I really love it.
Ohhh I hope you are drinking some wine for me. I might have to open a bottle to have with dinner tonight.
You want a *real* confession? I now want a pair of skinnies to wear with my pairs of leather knee-high boots after watching this past season's Bachelorette and seeing her rock the look on practically every damn episode.
Can't believe I've been sucked in, but they just looked so cute. I still haaaaate how they look with anything besides boots, but I want a pair for that reason alone.

LOL...Do it!! I actually had Frye high heeled sandals on when I tried mine on and they looked cute with them so I'm not completely opposed to wearing them with a pair of cute heels
I'm laughing at the fact that they have brought back the skinny jeans with the ankle zips and back zips...I remember that trend the first time around...

I have them on DVR and refuse to delete them yet.
The only one I am missing is the initial episode because they haven't been reairing that one. I really hope they bring it back for a second season. It's not mentally stimulating tv but it is definitely entertaining. I love Michael and Kat is so stunning.

My dog munched on my black boots, so now I feel weird wearing them over jeans. She didn't destroy them, like she did to my favorite black heels, but there are some visible teeth marks near the top.
Aw that stinks...they sound like my favorite black teva flip flops. They are super comfy and Byron has definitely left his mark on them...a few times
I really need to replace them and should probably scope out the end of season sales and put them aside for next summer!
Second to that!! We had a wine/champagne day on Saturday with some friends- it's good time
Also, a pair of CUTE ballet flats with skinny jeans looks great too! I don't have skinnies (hips are WAY too wide for that!) but my good friend rocks them with awesome flats all the time, and she looks awesome doing it!
