s/o to Jen's post... guess what I saw today
Stirrup pants! At Old Navy! That is one 80's fad that can GO AWAY! They were awful! I was just thinking the other day "at least someone hasn't tried to bring them back" and then I saw them.

I am right there with you. I had A TON of them! But I don't want them anywhere near me now!
This. And FWIW, I would sooner go naked than wear stirrup pants again at 24.
I was always too tall and they fit awkwardly back in the day.
... every single day of forever.
Oh my. I used to have them in pink and purple. Do the "new" stirrups come in an assortment of colors? *shudders*
LOL, I just read this post to my DH and he slurred together one long word: "Oh-god-no-WHY! That's so nasty."
I loved stirrup pants. They were so comfy. But the bulging knee sag by the end of the day wasn't so attractive.
When I was pregnant last year, my sister gave me some of her maternity clothes - her boys are 12 and 10 - and there were stirrup pants in there. I never wore them, but it made me laugh, and wonder when they would come back in style.
