Sewing classes in BR?

Have any of y'all taken sewing classes in BR at a place you would recommend? I have a machine already..I just want to learn the skill in person.

I've never taken lessons so I don't have a suggestion but let me know if you find some that you like. I have a sewing machine and I know the basics but that's about it. I'd love to be able to do more with it!

Have you tried calling Hobby Lobby and asking them? I don't sew; just thought they might be helpful. They can probably point you in the right direction at least.

hancock fabrics used to - there's one at florida & sherwood, and one off of drusilla by I-12.

I believe Allbrands is a local place that is locally owned and operated. Also check the learning annex ( can't remember the real name) at LSU, I think that's one of the things they do there.

LSU Continuing Ed programs have things like this. Cake Decorating too, I have been wanting to take that one for a long time!

Thanks y'all!

I called Hancock's...their fees are crazy high (over $100 for 4 classes) and emailed All Brands. I wish there was a Joann's in BR..their classes were $30!
