not too bad, just too short.
Saturday J and I drove down to go to Joe's Crab Shack, since we keep seeing commercials for it.
Sunday I went shoppint with my mom and I bought this dress for my step-bro's wedding at the end of Sept.
Nova - that dress is gorgeous!!
Our weekend was good and also too short. Come Sunday afternoon/night DH is always wishing that there was one more day.
Fri night; i met up with a friend that i hadn't seen in a while. We were going to do a quick drink then a movie, but since we hadn't seen each other, i suggested we stick with drinks, maybe dinner, and just catch up. So that was nice! And i had to promise her that we'd go see the movie at some point.
Sat; went to NJ to visit with our friends and their month old baby girl! She is so cute!! We basically just sat on their couch, chatted, ate pizza, held the baby, played with her...it was nice! We got back to the city by 6pm, so we had dinner at Uno's!
Sun; we cleaned the heck out of our apartment! And i have the bruise to prove it; apparently i think mopping is a full contact sport.
I laid down but again don't feel like i fell asleep or really rested. Grr...but then we showered and headed to Brooklyn Heights to walk the promenade. We also stopped for brunch at 3:30pm!! Walked around quite a bit, got ice cream and headed back home to watch Nip/Tuck. I started getting a pretty bad headache cuz i'm again trying to go caffeine free. So i was in bed by 9:30 last night but my head hurt so bad it took forever to get comfy and fall asleep.

Finally! A Married Bio!!
Oooh, pretty dress, Nova!!
Good weekend for me - lots of dancing, I had a birthday party gig on Saturday and then I was at Hush last night. Some friends came to see me who had never seen me dance before and then we stayed and had drinks after, so that was fun.
We had a pretty good weekend as well!
Friday: we were going to watch movies and such, but both of us were really into the books we were reading, so we just hung out at home and read!
Saturday: Went to the farmer's market because I wanted to make homemade pickles! I also got some spearmint for some homemade iced tea and stuff to make french onion soup! (which I still need to make). I helped my friend move some of her stuff to her new apartment. she's moving from harlem to brooklyn - woo hoo. DH went indoor rock climbing with some friends. Then we had a late lunch/dinner at a really good sandwich place and finally watched our two netflix movies!
Sunday: Again we helped my friend move more stuff to her new place. It was really light helping - haha. all of her heavy stuff and furniture is being moved by professionals, we were just doing odds and ends. She took us out for late lunch as a thank you. I had the best salad and a yummy calzone! mmmmmm...then I came home and completely passed out and took a nap for a couple hours!!
I agree with the others, Nova, that dress is hottt.
My weekend was interesting:
Friday: came home after a crappy day and just rested. DH was working very late.
Saturday: DH slept all day, catching up on his missed zzz's. I had to run errands at the bank etc. all day. Chores etc. took up most of my Saturday.
Sunday: Dh and I weeded the huge bushes on one side of the house...my body still aches from all that activity. But a great form of exercise. I also cleaned the vinyl siding in the front porch and scrubbed the floor of the porch itself. So I feel really accomplished wrt the house. I cooked a huge lunch then ironed some clothes for the work week, and then I crashed!

thanks everyone! I had a really hard time finding something to wear to this wedding, but I'm very happy with what I ended up with.
It was down to the one I got or this one in black which was also very cute, but I really didn't want to buy another black dress.
Helen: I'm glad you went with the one you chose...it's beautiful...I may have to borrow it at the end of Nov. for my bro's wedding!
My weekend was productive! I finished cleaning the entire house (including all 3 bathrooms). I hate coming home from vacation to a dirty house. yuck! And yesterday I went to a friends block party. Today I was lucky enough to wake up with a sore throat...can you believe it? I just had the frigg'n flu! DH has had a cold for the last few days, so I'm thinking I'm possibly getting it? This sucks! But, if I have to be sick, I want it to be before we leave on Saturday. =/
Anyway, I hope everyone has a Happy Monday!
That is a fantastic dress! I love it!
My weekend was fun! We had a friend in town from Boston - our first house guest and futon user! It went pretty well.
Had a yummy dinner at a Cuban restaurant on Friday night and then some drinks.
Saturday we were totally lazy....it was raining on and off most of the day around here. Yuck.
Saturday night, had a birthday dinner for a different friend, then some drinks at a bar after.
Yesterday, we just enjoyed the nice weather, walked down Hudson Park a little way and laid out on the lawn, then made a nice dinner and had some wine. Yum!
