So Disappointed
So Dh got the bad news Thursday that he didn't get the job with San Diego PD. I am not sure if he just got a crappy Dt or if there are just to many Cali people looking for a job. He is soooo upset about this, I have been trying to lift his spirits but he feels like he is a failor and trapped in his current job because he didn't finish college. He really doesn't want to go back to school but it doesn't look like he has a choice. The qualifications for the job stated that you needed no more then a high school diploma. But the DT said he didn't have anything to offer except his experiance and he would have gotten the job if he would have had a degree. Now to me this sounds like false advertisement. Since he current works for NYPD but has peace officer status. I am really upset, we have been trying to move back to the west coast and it finally felt like everything was working out. I don't want to say anything to my company about it just in case one of the jobs I have been looking into is still an option... but then if he doesn't have something we really can't go anywhere. I am trying to stay upbeat but I feel like **** We have been a believer in "Everything happens for a Reason" I am just hoping that reason is because there is a better job for DH that is going to show its pretty head in about 60 days...
