Good Morning (mon)!

Hi girls!  I feel like I haven't been on in forever!  We have been so busy with work and fun that I haven't been online in awhile.  I wish I could nest on my phone :(  I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I went out with my sis and her boyfriend on Friday night.  He recently came back from Afghanistan, so it was a little homecoming party, while DH went out for a friend's bday.

Saturday I worked, then slept.

Sunday we cleaned the house, and watched football at  friend's house.

Happy Monday!  I hope they get the Oak Glen fire out soon!

Re: Good Morning (mon)!

  • hahaha just posted one above....Opps...and I have no idea how to delete....Oh well!  Good morning to you!
  • Good morning. The fire is still going. :(

My weekend was good otherwise. Saturday I hung out with Robyn. Sunday a friend came over and we went up to Oak Glen. I swear I didn't start it. ;)

Mary's sick so I made her a doc appt for this afternoon. I already know there is nothing they can do for her but I would feel like an awful Mom if I didn't take her.

    Have a good day.

  • Good Morning!

Shannon- If the girls are ready today, thats ok, I am SO proud o fyou for making it this long! Great job! If they want to stay in for another couple of weeks thats ok too! :-) Can't wait for the update!

Kristy- Keep us posted on the fire and on what the Dr. says about Mary.

Kat--still thinking about you and Boomer :-( I know it was his time but its still so hard to lose part of the family. Hope you guys are doing ok.

Im sitting here watching K play while C is still asleep! :-) My weekend was busy, I worked over 1/2 of it, ugh. I love my job and I love haivng a ton of clients and making more money for my family, but I HATE not being with my kids and DH and on the weekends. At least Saturday we did go out to lunch with one of D's co-workers and had a great time and yesterday after work my parents came over with dinner! I cleaned out the girls clothes, AGAIN, but I love when its done and everything in their drawers fits and is int he right season. I have over 3 trash bags of stuff to give away, and I clean their stuff out every month. Its nuts!

Tonight we are starting the girls on their 1st food besides cereal, avacados! Yum! Hopefully that goes well.

  • Hope Mary feels better.  Shannon, gl w/ your appt.  Kat, sounds like you had a fun weekend.

Well, let's see, Friday DH and I with 2 other friends went out to dinner for my 21st birthday.  Nothing crazy or wild.  I guess the wildest part of the night was when we drove for miles looking for a yogurt place! We kept saying how late it was, but it wasn't even 10.  Sad.

Saturday we somehow ended in San Diego.  We got lost thanks to my unreliable phone gps, and ended eating lunch at this Filipino restaurant.  It wasn't bad, but it wasn't the greatest either.

Sunday spent the whole day cleaning.  Really, this whole nesting-thing is getting to me.  I am even annoyed at my own self now for having the urge to clean every minute.  It is too bad I have no energy to actually get a lot of things done.

    Have a good week everyone.

  • Good Morning Everyone.

Friday I went and got my hair done, color and cut.  Then went home and DH made fajitas for dinner.

Saturday morning we got up and DH and I mowed the front and back yards.  Then I went and took a nap.  We hung out for awhile and then went out to dinner.  I was craving Olive Garden but it was so packed we ended up at Marie Callendar's.

Sunday we got up really early and loaded the bikes in the back of the truck and headed to the beach.  We went for a 12 mile bike ride.  We were back home by 10:30, then we had to make a trip out to chapparal to get a new tire for DH's motorcycle cause he got a nail in it on Friday.  We came back home and went in to pool.  Then did some grocery shopping and came home cooked dinner and went to bed.

Hope everyone has a great week!

  •  Good morning! Busy weekend for me - running errands and getting the house together a bit more. We got to get lots of pool time in, it was way too hot!
  • Morning.

My weekend was pretty low-key. I got a pedicure with my sister on Saturday then went to a birthday party at Bar Louie in Anaheim. Sunday I did some shopping with my mom and her friend.

    Today is our BIG ultrasound!!!

  • Good morning! Nothing exciting to report- went to a baby shower- had a mini-breakdown on the phone after w/ DH due to our TTTC stuff, slept a lot and then decided I would start Body for Life today--- time to get unfat! :)

    Have a great monday!

Don't worry about tomorrow. After all, today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. Take each day as it comes...one at a time. Midnight Baking Adventures Blog
  • Happy Belated Birthday Jewelyn!

We were up in San Jose for the weekend to attend H's best man's wedding.

Friday - Dropped the pup at my ILs and then made the 6hr drive up. The drive was miserable for me thanks to my knee problems and it was really stiff by the time we checked into our hotel ($51/night at the Sheraton thanks to Priceline - woot!). We headed out to the rehearsal and the rehearsal dinner that night and crashed at our hotel by 10 pm

Sat - H left early to get ready with the guys, I got my toes done to kill some time, then headed to the ceremony and reception

Sun - Our 1 year anniversary...we spent most of it driving home, H made reservations at Mr Stox which was so yum! and suprised me with tickets to see Dave Mathews Band next month yay!

  • Back from the doc. Just like I thought they couldn't do anything for her. But she has a fever and suggested tyenol (was doing that anyway) and vicks baby rub to help the congestion.
  • afternoon!

    thanks tif

My weekend was ok. For those that didn't see my facebook, we had to put our dog, boomer down. He'd been sick for awhile and it just finally came to the point where we had to make the decision. It was pretty rough, especially with isabel asking "where'd boomer go?" "oh I miss my boomer"

After that we just couldn't stand to be in the house without him so we walked around the elsinore outlets.

Sunday was just hanging out at home.

  • Oh, Kat. I'm so sorry! :(
  • Kat- I am sorry to hear that! I saw your FB status, but didn't comment. Is Isabel still upset?

Kristy- Is Mary feeling any better?

My weekend was low key. My H had his wisdom teeth removed on Fri afternoon, so I picked him up from the dentist on my way home from work and we went to Victoria Gardens. He wanted Jamba Juice and then we walked around. Thankfully, his teeth were already fully in, so it was just an extraction. I had mine removed when I was 16 and they were growing in sideways under my gums....full on surgery for me!

Sat I taught a quick swim lesson in the morning....the little boy said "no" the whole time, but actually did a great job! lol Nothing much during the day, but I did get some new Calphalon nonstick pans at Macys. I needed to replace the cheap $10 Target pans my mom bought me in college about 7 years ago. :) We found a set of 2 pans, normally $100, onsale for $50, and we had an additional 15% off coupon. YAY for deals!

Sun was low key at home. We played the new Batman: Arkum Asylum game on PS3 (SO fun!!) and I made cupcakes filled with pastry cream. My mom and I are competing against each other in a cupcake contest at the LA County Fair in a couple of weeks, so I needed to practice my recipe. My co-workers devoured the results, so I think I will do well. :)

The weekend went by way too fast...as always!
