Has anyone else noticed the amount of flannel in the stores???
I'm too young for my college wardrobe to be back in style!
Re: s/o to the s/o: flannel
I LOVED flannel shirts in HS. So comfy...
I'm pretty sure I plucked at a sleeve of one of these monstrosities while shopping on Saturday and made fun of it.
Just sayin'.
... every single day of forever.
There are a ton of plaid shirts out there, I'm not sure if I like this trend or not. I think it was in jr. high/early high school when they were big last time.
Thinking of wearing plaid shirts reminded me of this--at my old job I had a lot of college students working for me, one day one of the girls came in and was telling me and one of the owners of the business (who is maybe 5 years older than me) that she was invited to a 90s party and didn't know what to wear. I kind of felt old when my clothing from high school/part of college was becoming a party theme.
Say it ain't so. In this economy, I would have expect designers would come up with more attractive outfits. Does this mean I can start wearing overalls again too?
I look back at what I wore in high school and realized I had the stereotypical "butch lesbian" thing going. Combat boots. Big jeans. And my dad's flannels.
And I wondered why very few boys hit on me.
MYSTERY SOLVED!
From what I've seen in stores though the trend seems a wee more feminine.
