Ok, by now it's obvious that I can't wait for this week to be over!!
Like I said in my earlier post, we are planning a housewarming / labor day BBQ and I sent out an e-vite yesterday. I am planning on around 75 people ( I know I am nuts) so I just can't provide all of the food for everyone, I don't have the kitchen available to do so, nor the sanity! So... I am providing the meat, buns, condiments, chips and non-alcoholic drinks and asked everyone else to bring a dish. Do you think that is rude? I have always provided everything when I had a BBQ but I have never had a crowd this large before so I am wondering if it's rude to ask everyone to bring a dish or not. I mean, the evite is out... so if it's rude, too bad, but I just want to know your thoughts.

Not rude at all
No, not at all. I'm having a LD party, as I do every year. I sent the evite, and included that we'll grill out (and provide all grill out food), and what I was/am making - adding 'bring a dish if you wish'.
Of course, I'm not having 75 people, but I know a couple of friends and family will bring stuff.
